In the past two years, the Springville Public Library Children’s Department has implemented two ongoing children’s programs: our after-school Kid Zone and Homeschool Hub. These programs are highly successful ventures that have illuminated previously unmet programming needs in our community. In this session, we’ll discuss the benefits and challenges of developing new and innovative programs, assessing the programming needs within your community and how to meet them, and share program ideas that attendees can implement in their own branches.
