In an increasingly politicized, polarized America, how can library professionals hold space for diverse perspectives, experiences, and needs? By leaving our personal politics, religions, and morals out of our work, we can virtually vanish in service of library communities and individual users. In this session, the presenter lays out principles for library work that foreground library users, and encourage library professionals to leave their own politics, religions, and morals at the door.
