There are many attributes of the Salt Lake City Public Library that exemplify socio-political equity and sustainability infrastructure. In this presentation we will explore the City Library’s commitment to these values by describing our system-wide seed-lending program as well as The Plot Community Garden, a lively green space where patrons and staff alike can share the wonder and practical reality of growing food.
