ULA / MPLA Conference 2024

This presentation features the Ascent Archive, a podcast of oral histories with rock climbers. In addition to the traditional practice of publishing the transcript and audio to the digital library, we published oral histories on multiple podcast streaming platforms. By publishing on podcast platforms, this project extends access to collections and meets user expectations for modern and mobile listening. The presentation will review the project's implementation, reception, and analytics. Do podcasting techniques expand collection access and add a new method of outreach for digital collections?
