ULA / MPLA Conference 2024

This session will educate librarians on how to support parents and their babies toddlers and preschoolers at the library. Ideas will be shared in how the library environment can be more welcoming for parents and their young children. We will look at materials provided for parents to check out such as baby book bags and preschool play packs. We will look at early literacy programming in the library. While most libraries provide a preschool story time, we will look at a Baby & Me and a Toddler Time class to better meet the needs of these younger children.
