The recent conflict between Israel and Gaza/Palestine has been headlining the news. This has brought the Middle East to the forefront of people's minds. As such, many people want to develop a deeper understanding of the Middle East and its conflicts. This session will discuss a variety of print and of online resources, including academic journals, that will help both librarians and readers understand the historical background, existing religious and ethical conflicts, as well as socio-economic conditions that have been identified as root causes of those conflicts. These resources can be utilized to expand academic, public, and special library resources about the Middle East.
